Happy New Year! I hope everyone else is excited about starting anew and more dedicated eating schedule. Nursing I don't get to diet but that doesn't mean I get to eat the bags of clearanced m&m's all by myself! Spencer isn't appreciating that:)
I'm using themes like Sara had talked about and I want to use the crockpot more. It is very under-utilized in our house. It mostly makes overnight chili, cranberry chicken and the occasional roast. I am really good at pulling out recipes and finding things that I want to try and then never actually make them.
Here is the plan:
M-Quesadillas with brown rice (and white for IA) and baby carrots and cucumber
T-Spaghetti with breadsticks and broccoli (steamed)
W-Omelets and toast and applesauce
R-Bake potatoes with the works and maybe something else!
F-Stirfry Rice with chicken and veggies and cashews (one of the few nuts my kids will eat)
Sa-New Recipe (Any suggestions?)
Su-Chicken soup and white bread (fresh and hot with butter YUM!)
