It Worked!
Just had to let you know that the yogurt totally worked!!!! I'm sitting here eating a bowl of homemade yogurt, with a little vanilla, a spoonful of sugar and some banana cut up into it and it is yummy. I must warn you that you have to like the taste of plain yogurt a little and not mind that it is not as thick as the store bought stuff. My mom used to make homemade yogurt a lot and I could eat a whole pint in one sitting if she would let me. I also like the yogurt they have in Europe, which is more like this homemade stuff. I'm thinking it would taste good over a bowlful of sweet granola or oats and honey...

Did Phil eat any? Do you make your own granola? I keep wanting to try but the list of ingredients for granola is a little daunting and costly. I'll have to try making some. We are just a plain yogurt with fruit and honey (and I add wheat germ, but the kids don't care for that!)
Okay, I want to make this but hate reading off the computer. Can I print this recipe somehow? I know it should be easy but...
I also want the recipe. I saw one on the crockpot365 website, but I'm curious how you did it.
I used the one on her blog. It turned out great. We've just been serving it out of the crock pot all week. I just did what she said to do.
I'm totally psyched to do this. I bought the whole milk and yogurt but when I got home I realized I picked up vanilla flavored. Blast! And living in "the sticks" as I am blessed to do, running down to the store isn't that easy so I'll just have to live with the anticipation a bit longer.
